About Us

East Carolina University
(ECU) , a constituent institution of The University of North Carolina, is a large, public university with a small college atmosphere. ECU offers a distinctive educational experience based on a strong tradition of teaching excellence, comprehensive research, and regional outreach. The Principal Investigator of the REVITALISE program is Dean of the College of Education at ECU.

The National Center for Supercomputing Applications ( NCSA ) located on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a leader in defining the future's high-performance cyberinfrastructure for scientists, engineers, and society. The Education, Outreach and Training Division (EOT) at NCSA develops and conducts a wide variety of activities and programs for educators, engineers, scientists, and other learners. These activities disseminate advanced technologies to new and established communities to encourage audiences to adopt new computational technologies as learning tools in K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and the workplace.

Revitalise is made possible in part by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
